People system settings for categories

If no other input is provided prior to configuring the database, the system is delivered with some general categories that can be edited later on. The categories are most often used to distinguish between the groups "Permanent Employees" and "Contracted People", but they can be adapted as required.
Select New group or New category to create additional groups or categories.
To make changes to an existing group or category, select Edit to the right of the line for the group or category to be changed.
Groups and categories can also be created by exporting/importing. Read more under Excel import and export.
To delete a category, check off to the left of the line and then select Delete. If there are people linked to a category, they must be moved before the category can be deleted. A group cannot be deleted until all the underlying categories have been deleted.
